Aries is the Armoured Spider
Aries is known as the “Me First” sign. Being the first to kick off the astrological calendar, this should come as no surprise. However, that doesn’t mean that this mentality is always a selfish disposition. Aries is happy to be the first to try something new, especially when it comes to sudden changes or challenges being laid out before them or those they admire and love. This blind jump may sometimes put a little more than Aries bargained for onto their plate, but it doesn’t stop Aries’ unending optimism from pushing them through to manage what might have briefly felt overwhelming.

This Mediterranean dwelling spider is a rare find, but not to be underestimated. They have been known to take on prey two to three times their size using their uniquely strong and unusually large front legs. They like to dwell on the ground, spinning their homes under rocks or in holes. They are slow in movement, but their hunt skills really shine through in the stealth this spider has mastered.

This hard hitting spider felt like a perfect fit for Aries with it’s masculine body form and daring hunt confidence. The Palpimanus Gibbulus (or armoured spider) seems to have little fear of the obstacles placed before it, making for a very courageous spider.
