Hall-Lore-Ween Giveaway
I’m making some Halloween magic for your in my giveaway for Josh Spero’s duo set of “Hall-Lore-Ween” books, the perfect collection of family-friendly frights for the season! Honestly, I have been sitting on this giveaway too long (since 2023). “Hall-Lore-Ween” came into my feed at random, when I reached out to Josh to take him up on his offer of signed copies for his freshly released first edition. Imagine my excitement to discover at Midsummer Scream that he was releasing a sequel collection!
Is “Hall-Lore-Ween” filled with family fun or frights?
I would say these are volumes of family fun! The first book contains three short stories and several poems. All are rather family friendly with some rather fun twists. The book as a whole is a quick read. I was able to re-read it recently in less than two hours. Personally, this would be a fun anthology to crack open once a week leading up to Halloween or even following it since the majority of the stories start right around Halloween and continue beyond it.

I typically do some kind of design instead of just a face. But when I do a face, I try to go scary and it always ends up just looking like a silly, happy Jack-o-lantern 😂

I’m envious of people who can do elaborate carvings on pumpkins. I’m lucky if my classic jack faces come out even close to what I want. Best of luck in the giveaway!

Carving jackolanterns is serious business here. I mostly stick to classic jackolantern faces, and Jackie will do really cool elaborate carvings like an owl, haunted house, Pennywise, headless horseman, etc

I bet Jackie’s always come out amazing! I’m a classic Jack face person myself. Best of luck in the giveaway!
