Over 10 Years of Crypt Keeping

In 2021, I celebrated 10 years of crypt keeping with the Countdown to Halloween. If you know me, this is a huge milestone to celebrate! I almost never stick with anything that long. In fact, my husband often asks how I haven’t become bored of him. All I can say is that he must be just as enticing as counting down to Halloween!

Apparently, I do not math well because counting those badges puts me at almost 15 years of being a part of the crypt kreepers! I’m also taking into consideration I did my own Halloween countdowns on the blog before I even knew that the Countdown to Halloween blog even existed. What a fright!

I believe I’ve mentioned before how I’ve lost some years of blogging from changing hosts or servers. Currently on this iteration of the blog, my posts only date back as far as 2013. However, I do have some photos across the internet in secret spaces that commemorate those lost posts.

It was such a joy getting to look through photos on a search to fill this post. In truth, this search down memory lane reminded me how much fun I’ve had thinking of posts to create each October, regardless of how simple they may be. Most important, I’ve had the pleasure of connecting with some truly spooktacular people through the countdown. In fact, it’s how I first stumbled across Spooky Little Halloween.
