Big Game Prediction with Patti Negri

Imagine my excitement receiving an exciting invitation to a Big Game prediction experience with Patti Negri from the Winchester Mystery House. After a December FULL of shenanigans, can you believe I was already willing to jump back in its halls? I mean, if you’ve hung around here long enough, you know the answer to that will always be yes.

My invitation eluded to drinks, entertainment, and a small tour of the house aside from the prediction from their hand picked psychic. Lucky for you, I captured the majority of the evening in full. You can watch both the pre-show and the prediction contained in their entirety in the following video:

Due to the personal interactions and experiences, I did NOT include the private séance that occurred in the Twin Dining Rooms. My email subscribers, however, will get access to this at the end of the month in the February newsletter.

What to Wear to a Big Game Affair

I’ll be honest. I’m not a football fan. As such, I had to pick my husband’s brain the night before on the two teams playing. I wanted to try not to dress like I was rooting for one team or another and I can never resist dressing up for a Winchester event. Especially one so exclusive!

I felt very much like a 1940s styled reporter in Miss Candyfloss fashion. I also accessorized with my Winchester stained glass earrings and 100th pin in addition to Memento Mori Goods‘ “Beware of Ghost” and “Seeing Eye” pins. Both feeling quite appropriate for the whole affair.

Cocktails and Tidbits

We were ushered right in through the front door with cocktail tables set up throughout the grand ballroom and the parlor. Between the two rooms, a delightful spread labeled “Valley of the Hearts Grazing Board” was set out, filled with local meats, cheeses, breads, fruits and nuts. Perfectly delectable treats to enjoy over the evening’s festivities.

Cocktails came around on trays. From what I counted, four different drinks were available to choose from: a gin lemonade, a margarita, a moscow mule, and glasses of champagne. I adored the gin lemonade so much that I just grabbed that one whenever the chance arose, balancing it with champagne or water.

Magician Performance with Spencer Grey

As guests mingled, sipped or snacked, Spencer Grey warmed guests up to the evening. He moved from guest to guest for some close-up magic. After guests had been confirmed, he engaged the whole group in a delightful performance of magic tricks and mentalism. As Spencer popped the cork on the evening, it was time to head upstairs past the Daisy bedroom for Patti’s big game predications.

Big Game Prediction with Patti Negri

Once everyone was seated, we were treated to Patti giving her predictions. Naturally, she kicked off the session with introductions about herself. Then, she encouraged everyone to join her in cleansing the energy around us. To tackle the predictions, she started with a tarot reading for each team. Once cards were read, she brought out two pairs of dousing rods for further questioning.

As mentioned before, I’m not a football fan. Personally, I cannot recall the last time I even watched a super bowl. The way Patti described things made me curious to see how things will actually play out this weekend! Who will actually win? Will Patti’s predictions come true? Only Sunday will tell!

Private Séance in the Twin Dining Rooms

As the session concluded, guests were invited to participate in a private séance. In the close quarters of the Twin Dining Rooms, tables were brought together. Anyone that wished to stay was welcome to. Although this particular part of the evening was full of wonderful vibes and beautiful emotions and connections, these kinds of large group séances can feel almost a little too personal for my tastes. Still, it was an intriguing experience. Patti is so emotive, it is hard not to be enamored by her passion. I couldn’t help be be reminded of when a medium came for Sarah’s 100th year of passing.

Once the séance concluded, guests were lead towards the exit, encouraged to take home some adorable football-shaped sugar cookies.

Final Thoughts on the Big Game Predictions

This was such a unique and fun event to be invited to. Honestly, I felt a little like a fish out of water at first. It hard to believe my tiny personal blog got me through that stained glass door. However, as I settled in, it was so lovely to be recognized and greeted by Winchester staff. Some even came to chat and then another pair of guests came to hang out with me around my table.

The experience overall was so magically charged. Patti has this energy that draws you in and you can’t help but hang onto her words. Seeing her at work is fascinating! As mentioned before, I am eager to hear how the game goes on Sunday. It will be interesting to see how true everything turns out to be.

Big Game Weekend Entertainment Continues at the Winchester Mystery House

Not only will Winchester Mystery House be open for their normal tours from now through Monday, they are in the midst of their February flashlight tours. If you have never checked out this tour, it has to be one of my favorites. This self-guided tour is available from 7pm to 11pm on February 7th. I greatly enjoyed our experience last May and its the perfect pre-game entertainment. This tour comes highly recommended should you find yourself looking for something to do while visiting the Bay Area for the Super Bowl.

Mind & Magic with Spencer Grey

Can’t swing by during game weekend? No worries! My favorite historic landmark is open every day from 10am to 4pm through April. The flashlight tours will be every Saturday through the end of February in addition to being available on Friday the 13th! Spencer Grey will also be headlining two full spooky performances on Friday the 13th at the Winchester Mystery House.
