A Little About
▽ Cyclocosmia Truncata ▽
Indiginous to North America, this spider builds her deep burrows in the ravines of Alabama, Georgia and Tennessee. She may enthrall you with the pattern found on her very unique abdomen, but beware! She packs a very powerful bite and prefers to be left alone. Being a ground-dwelling spider, she builds a deep tunnel lined with silk instead of a web. When her home is threatened, she will use her own body to defend it, plugging the hole with the disc-end of her abdomen.

There’s many reasons this spider is called to represent Scorpio. Her power, her confidence and ownership are very present, but the desire to burrow and be left to her own devices also shine in bold Scorpio fashion.
