I am not a professional astrologist nor expert. I just really enjoy reading about the astrological signs and thought it would be fun to mix that with the diversity of spiders and their very unique and individualized traits.
Taurus is the Curved Spiny Spider
Taurus is the symbol of dependability. They have a great fondness for all things beautiful and can be found enjoying nature’s beauty above all else. However, this sign is not known to adventure outside of their comfort zone, but they can be relied upon to establish a solid foundation. This is thanks to their need for order in not just their lives, but life as a whole. They will show amazing patience when it’s time to adjust and resettle. Other signs look to Taurus as taskmaster, perceiving them as wonderful hosts and a serene influence. Be sure to treat Taurus kindly. They do not seek to challenge, but are very reactionary when provoked.
A Little About
▼ Gasteracantha Arcuata ▼
Found in Tropical and Subtropical climates, this spider group is rather common, but require a keen eye to spot. The females are not usually no larger than 1/3 of an inch and the males run significantly smaller. Despite their smaller sizes, they are a very colorful species with a plethora of nicknames including “star spider”, “jewel spider” and “thorn spider”. They keep themselves busy with reconstructing their webs each night and usually live solitary lives.

This colorful spider just screamed Taurus to me with it’s adorable spines that remind me of a bull’s horns, completely unique to each individual spider in the family. The Gasteracantha (or spiny orb weaver) is a docile arachnid that brings beauty to the garden and order to nature by fulfilling it’s duty of maintaining the population of garden pests.
