Curated Playlists from the Samhain Society
I know I’ve talked about being a part of a very special group of bloggers called the Samhain Society, but today, I dug deep into fellow society members’ blogs (with a LOT of help from them) and found some pretty stellar playlists to help you add some awesome acoustics to your October.
Halloween and Chill from Spooky Little Halloween
My pal Miranda put together a playlist I’ve been COMPLETELY abusing all through August and September. I just can’t stop. It’s been my go-to playlist when I really need to get those spooky vibes a flowing, but not get caught up in the spooky tunes so I can focus on the task I’m trying to complete. Need something a little more upbeat? Don’t worry, Spooky’s got you covered!
Ultimate Halloween Playlist from Mr. & Mrs. Halloween
Although this list is older in creation, the coolest part is that the Mr. and Mrs. continue to add to this very comprehensive list constantly. It’s a huge list, but you’ll never know what wonders you’ll discover within it!
Voodoo Queens ‘n Cajun Things from Your Best Halloween Ever
There’s just something about New Orleans that has spooky in its’ soul all year round and Andrew put together a playlist that completely captures it. Voodoo not your thing? Well lucky for you, Andrew has a PLETHORA of playlists to choose from!
Music from Regions Beyond from All Hallow’s Geek
I love ghosts. They are probably one of the monsters I associate with Halloween most. Mike has put together the perfect playlist of haunting ghostly melodies sure to bring about a swinging wake. 😉 This is the perfect playlist to play during a haunted house party or even a lesser themed Halloween Bash. But maybe ghosts aren’t your thing? That’s ok! The AHG has you covered with playlists for witches, vampires, and even Halloween vintage if you so need.
Halloween Playlists from Halloween Haiku
Kristy put together a collection of her favorite spooky selections to help you get started with creating your own Halloween playlist. Don’t you find that extremely helpful? Like all of us, she knows there’s just so many songs out there to choose from, but her list is definitely worth browsing through.
Bone Chilling Theme Songs from Me and Annabel Lee
I love a good movie theme, don’t you? Alexandra put together a very well curated collection of some of the most haunting of themes alongside some of the most famous ones. It’s very enjoyable listening where you don’t feel like you need to know the words but have the memories all the same.
Do you have a favorite playlist? Be sure to share with me in the comments!

Cheers to your excellent list! You deserve to be there! (glad to hear I wasn’t the only one ever making their lists while at work. XD)

I’ll have to check these out! Thanks! Just like Christmas music, you can never have enough Halloween music!
There’s a quartet of YouTube channels under the general name of “A Jazzy Halloween” which feature Halloween tunes from the 1920s through the 1950s.

I’ve put together a playlist of relevant TV themes:
TV composers never get enough credit, so here’s some info on the people behind that music:

This is all so interesting! I’m defintiely going to give these a listen (or read!). Thank you for sharing your lists! And yes, I couldn’t agree more. We can always use another Halloween song. 😉
