An Australian native, the mirror spider also goes by “twin-peaked spider and “sequined spider”. These spiders are very tiny, getting no bigger than a quarter of an inch. Very little can be found about these spiders outside of their reflective “scales”. Depending on their feeling of safety, they can change the size of the mirror-like patches found along their abdomen.
