Trick or Treat Trail 2025 @ WMH
I am thrilled to share that the Winchester Mystery House and the Valle Monte League revived their Trick or Treat Trail in 2025 for yet another year of family-friendly Halloween fun. It built off of and improved what had been established at the little pumpkin harvest fest in 2023. Like the previous year, it was a perfect vintage styled event for families to bring their little pumpkins to.
I love that this event returned as my littles love getting to come to Winchester in their costumes. All things considered, the event was even bigger and better than the prior years (if that is even possible!).
Relocated Trick or Treat Stations & Activities
Not only did the the treat trail return with six different stations throughout the garden, but also a relocated crafts area and pumpkin patch. In addition, families had access to two of the haunt mazes without the jump scares.
Access to Scare-Free Mazes
Honestly, maze access was a really cool addition that I had not anticipated. Having experienced these mazes during haunt house, it was super awesome getting to walk through them with all the lights on and no fear of things springing out at you. My littles were at first a little nervous walking through them, but that quickly changed into curiosity and wonder. Altogether, we walked through both available mazes twice.
New Crafts & Activiites Along the Trail

Meanwhile, there were even more activities to see and do. The jump house, inflatable axe throwing, carnival games and bubble lady returned, and were joined by a puppet show. As has been noted, crafting areas were relocated this year and included donut decorating, keychain/paper coloring, face painting, and pumpkin decorating.
Overall, I think the new locations for these were well thought out. The craft area with the coloring, face painting and donut decorating weren’t ever too crowded. Similarly, the pumpkin patch and decorating had been moved behind the shooting game near the bathrooms and it worked really well.
In effect, this event is SUCH a joy to participate in. I am so glad that the Winchester Mystery House and the Valle Monte League continue to partner together for this event. I would love to see it continue to come back and hope it continues to do so.
It is an honor to be amongst my fellow crypt keepers once more and I am so excited to see how everyone is sharing the Halloween magic throughout the month.
