Candy Corn Crew Broadcast 2026

I’m celebrating the countdown to Halloween with a golden-age inspired radio show broadcast featuring the Candy Corn Crew! This idea hit me over the summer after struggling with ideas for this year’s countdown. I really wanted to do something that involved the Candy Corn Crew. However, I was also anticipating not having much free time to do daily posts. Then, something on YouTube made me think of a whole hodge-podge of things that I adore. More specifically, the golden-age radio broadcasts.

Some of my favorite films have this vibe – “You’ll Find Out” and “Haunted Honeymoon” just to name a few. Considering the crew and their mischief, the Jungle Cruise ride’s queue line broadcast kept coming to mind. Which eventually got me thinking about actual radio shows like “Little Orphan Annie”. Running with these inspirations, I got to brainstorming and researching. And by research I mean listening to whatever radio show recordings I could get my hands on. Now, this idea has become reality.

I am thrilled to share this silly little project with the world. It will act as my contribution to the Halloween countdown for 2026. The broadcast includes a weekly Halloween-themed forecast, ad spots featuring favorite spooky-themed businesses and seasonal treats, “emergency” bulletins, and even secret messages for decoding! I recommend joining the crews’ email newsletter to keep up-to-date with all the shenanigans happening each week.

As for additional countdowns on the blog…it’s up in the air. I may pop in here on the blog with a random update or two, but most of my work went into creating this broadcast and I would love your support with this Candy Corn Crew project.
