What exactly is next that I’m getting ready to toast to? Fill up your glass and let me tell you!
Life is always in a full flurry and things change rapidly. Needs, wants and availability is bound to change as well. With that in mind, I have to be honest with you. It was my goal to drop a blog post every week. I was also ignorantly listening to and trying to implement suggestions from those who don’t really align with the lifestyle I keep. That one-post-a-week goal is just not something I’m capable of right now.
What have I been toasting to?
I’ve put quite a bit on my plate since last summer. Trying to balance this blog, recording and editing episodes for Sips & Spirits, prepping for Candy Corn Crew‘s revival in August, juggling full-time motherhood with two super-active toddlers and then starting a consistent part-time night job in January had me tripping up here and there. I’m not complaining. It’s just everything that lined up in the way it did and I really had to step back and look at what I was overcommitting myself to.
Lucky for me, I have an amazing support network who helps me look more objectively at these things! (Looking at you, Spooky Little Halloween and my podcast co-host. 👻)
What is next?
You may be asking “What’s next that will be worth a toast?”. For starters, I will be returning to Midsummer Scream to celebrate their five year anniversary! I have yet to decide what I’m going to wear (this will make a fun webdrobe post…😘) but I will for sure be there alongside my husband and my littles. I cannot wait to mingle and toast with all the spooky peeps.
On that note, the full moon cocktails will continue! That’s the one thing I guarantee will happen every month. Additionally, there are a handful of collaborative projects I’m working on for the spooky season and I have almost finalized my posts for October.
I have been receiving a TON of inspiration from the Sing films and want to create some video snippets from those on the spicals. Outside of that, who knows? There is so much that can happen and I’m looking positively at all the possibilities.
As such, I’ve decided to try (and the keyword here is TRY) and post here on Cheers! with Chelsea on the opposing weeks of Sips & Spirits episodes. This means every other week. There may be times where I am able to post more frequently. There’s a chance I might post just once in the month. The goal is every other week.
Grab your glass for a toast!
Now that your glass is filled and you’ve read this far, let’s finish this toast to what’s next! In the enlightening words of Buster Moon, “…the good thing about hitting rock bottom, there’s only one way left to go and that’s up!”
As we near the year’s halfway point, how are you feeling about 2022?
