Gossamer Gossip Mood Checks
Current Mood Music Playlist
Music that has been a motivator or inspiration when I was in need a literal sounding board to center my emotions or give myself some inspiration.
Previous Mood Playlists
Mood playlists of the past. I will keep a collection of each annual playlist here. I’ve always believed life needs a soundtrack and it has been fun gauging my mood each month with a single song.
Read through my email archive for other mood checks which included Library Hauntings and Boob Tube Chills.

Young Frankenstein Quotes for 2026
As we say goodbye to a year of quoted mystery and murder, we say hello to a year of slapstick science. I did not get to enjoy my beloved Young Frankenstein all that much through all the chaos of 2025, not even watching it on Halloween night, which is traditionally a must for myself and husband. - “Well! Someone’s got to break the ice and it might as well me be. I mean I’m used to being a hostess, it’s part of my husband’s work and it’s always difficult when a group of new friends meet together for the first time to get acquainted so I’m perfectly prepared to get the ball rolling. I mean I have absolute no idea what we’re doing here or what I’m doing here or what this place is about, but I am determined to enjoy myself and very intrigued and oh my, this soup’s delicious, isn’t it?”
